Keith Tan is a dedicated sports dietitian specializing in performance nutrition and recovery optimization for athletes. With a strong foundation in sports nutrition, he has been instrumental in enhancing the dietary practices of Singapore's elite athletes, including the Men’s and Women’s 7s Rugby Teams and the Singapore Rugby 15s National Team.
Keith’s expertise lies in developing tailored nutrition protocols that optimize performance, recovery, and injury prevention. He collaborates closely with high-performance teams, including coaches, strength and conditioning professionals, and physiotherapists, to design individualized match-day and training-day nutrition strategies. He has also conducted educational workshops, cooking demonstrations, and individual consultations to empower athletes with the knowledge to fuel their performance effectively.
Keith’s contributions include crafting resources on competition nutrition, supplement use, and hydration strategies. He has developed onboarding packages for new athletes and evaluated the suitability of nutrition supplements in collaboration with team sponsors. His focus on recovery extends to creating specialized plans for post-injury nutrition to accelerate healing and return to play.
