Physiotherapist/Performance Coach, BSc(Hons) Physiotherapy

With a rich clinical background, JJ spent three years at Sengkang General Hospital, immersing himself in Orthopedics, General Medicine, and Outpatient Musculoskeletal rotations. Additionally, he garnered valuable experience working in acute care hospitals during his time in Ireland.

As a former national wushu athlete, JJ brings a unique perspective to his work, understanding the discipline and dedication required for optimal sports performance. Currently, he collaborates with athletes across diverse sports such as basketball, handball, swimming, wushu, and football. JJ is also deeply committed to advancing the local wushu scene in Singapore.

JJ priorities the development of holistic and transparent therapeutic relationships with his athletes. Recognising the importance of a comprehensive understanding of their conditions and the demands of their respective activities, he aims to facilitate their recovery from injuries and enhance overall health and performance.

In addition to his professional pursuits, JJ volunteers with Special Olympics Singapore, serving as one of the clinical directors for their FUNfitness program.

Educational Credentials:
JJ is a qualified physiotherapist and strength and conditioning coach, having graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physiotherapy from Trinity College Dublin. He also holds ASCA (Level 1) certification in Strength and Conditioning.
